The contract of redevelopment of the Victoria Park Swimming Pool Complex involves five sections, and a new pool complex is constructed to meet the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) standard. The new complex includes a 50x25-metre indoor heated main pool, and a 33x25-metre indoor heated multi-purpose pool that can accommodate more than 2,500 spectators. In addition, provision is made for shower and toilet facilities in the park management office and the changing rooms.
The area where the existing swimming pools was located is converted into a handball court, two skating rinks and a landscaped area. In addition, Gammon refurbishs and re-surfaces the four tennis courts located in the park, and upgrades the lighting system to meet world-class standards.
The area of the site occupies approximately 24,000 square metres, with the total construction floor area consisting of 18,500 square metres. Construction work has commenced in 4th quarter 2009. This redevelopment project is expected to take approximately 55 months to complete.

It presently consists of one standard 50-metre main pool, one training pool, one diving pool, one children pool and one paddling pool with a maximum capacity of 1,100 swimmers and 1,700 spectator seats.
