Gammon is pleased to announce the release of the 19th edition of its sustainability report – which is now available on Gammon’s website. We have called the report Shaping a new future, in recognition of the exciting new programmes and initiatives we have been introduced, as well as a nod to our new Chief Executive Kevin O’Brien.

The report covers the launch of the Power Up Coalition which is working towards lower carbon construction sites, as well as the use of green finance products which continued with six new green or sustainability-linked guarantees and two sustainability-linked revolving loans. Our efforts to be a more inclusive company saw us formally launch our Women in Gammon and Allies (WinG) employee network and support for the Girls Go Tech programme. At our head office, we installed a smart immersive lab, complete with BIM cave, which we showcased to customers and partners. The future of residential developments is also set to change with our award of the first concrete modular integrated construction project for the private sector.

In addition to highlighting project and corporate achievements throughout the year, we also shine the spotlight on some of the people who are the very heart of our business and are essential for our ongoing success. We continue to report on our progress towards the targets of our ‘Responsible Growth – 25 by 25’ sustainability strategy, which seeks improvements in our four focus areas.
