Gammon has been chosen as a Grand Award winner of the HKMA Quality Awards 2019

Gammon has been chosen as a Grand Award winner of the Hong Kong Management Association Quality Awards 2019.

We were delighted to receive the top award, which recognises the achievement of exceptional standards of quality and a lasting commitment to the process of quality management.

Feedback from the judges included the comment that Gammon was a “progressive company that demonstrates effective leadership with passion and a clear focus on safety and innovations”. Our processes and systems were also considered to be well-deployed, enabling us to “optimise the construction process and excel in the construction industry”.

The judging panel consisted of respected captains of industry who carried out stringent assessments of our management processes across seven focus areas: leadership, strategy, customers, workforce, operations, results, and measurement, analysis and knowledge management.

“We are honoured to be deemed to embody a strong commitment to the implementation of quality, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction,” said Chief Executive Thomas Ho.

“Through our ongoing digital transformation of the business, we look forward to delivering our projects to even higher levels of quality, safety and efficiency.”

Judging criteria was based on the renowned Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award which is given annually in the United States and which includes a comprehensive framework for measuring performance in the seven focus areas.
