Gammon Engineering & Construction Company Limited is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a building contract for a residential development – TW5 Cityside Property Development in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. The total value of the contract is HK$3.2 billion.

 

Developed by Chinachem Group, the project includes the construction of seven residential towers, from 12 to 40 stories, on three-storey retail podium and recreational facilities and one-storey basement.. The total construction floor area is 112,000m². The project also involves the re-provision of public transport interchange and the building of five footbridges. Upon completion, the development will provide about 900 residential flats.

 

As the development is adjacent to the existing West Rail Tsuen Wan West Station and the residential community, the project team will deploy comprehensive measures on sustainable development and environmental management throughout the construction process.

The project has commenced in January 2015 and is scheduled for completion in 2018.
