Gammon contributes its construction and engineering expertise to deliver the renovation project at-cost to support the local charity.

Gammon Construction and Mother’s Choice are pleased to announce the opening of the newly renovated Kwun Tong Service Centre, a purpose-built facility designed to support children without families and pregnant young girls in Hong Kong. As part of Gammon’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, the company contributed its construction and engineering expertise to help deliver the renovation project and support the local charity.

As the first touchpoint of all Mother’s Choice’s clients, the space in The Legend Tower has been transformed into a safe, functional, and welcoming centre for its four core services — supporting pregnant girls, Safe Families, child adoption, and foster care. A six-person team from Gammon was formed to provide full project management and vendors coordination to transform the traditional office space into the new service centre.

The renovation has significantly enhanced the centre’s capacity and flexibility. With a 25% increase in workstations and the introduction of flexible desks, the new layout supports strategic expansion and cross-team collaboration for the Mother’s Choice workforce. Upgraded features such as baby-friendly furniture, soundproofing, and dedicated family conversation rooms create a private and inclusive environment for mothers and children.

Gammon is committed to serving the communities it operates in. In 2024, the company supported 172 community events in Hong Kong, contributing over 2,700 volunteer hours.
