Gammon Wins Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area Second Phase Development Contract

Gammon has been jointly awarded the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area Second Phase Development - Contract 3 - Site Formation and Engineering Infrastructure Works, by Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD), with an awarded sum of HKD 3.36 billion. The project is a joint venture between Gammon Construction and Richwell Engineering.

A contract signing ceremony was held to mark the beginning of the project. The project covers site clearance and formation (including land decontamination works) and engineering infrastructure works, including district distributor and local roads, a vehicular underpass and associated depressed roads, a pedestrian footbridge and associated stairs and lifts, noise barriers, retaining walls, underground utilities installation, a sewage pumping station, realignment and revitalisation of some sections of Tin Sam Channel, etc.

The project is expected to span from the fourth quarter of 2024 to the fourth quarter of 2032, lasting approximately 95 months.
