Insurance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to internal customers on all construction and casualty, third party, professional indemnity, employees compensation, and motor insurance related matters;
  • Evaluate external consultants' recommendations;
  • Handle insurance documents e.g. policies, endorsements, invoices etc.;
  • Create and maintain insurance and loss statistics and to perform insurance and loss analysis;
  • Advise internal customers on premium allocation and loss analysis in order to provide a clearer picture of risk financing and loss management;
  • Take recovery actions against insurers or liable third parties; 
  • Provide advice to business units on recovery actions;
  • Review the claims and recovery systems and to develop and maintain the Insurance and Claims Manual; 
  • Maintain good relationship with insurers, brokers and reinsures.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in the insurance sector;
  • Proven record demonstrating good commercial & contractual acumen;
  • A team player, dynamic, organised, systematic, and able to perform well under pressure;
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
