Assistant Recruitment Manager

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Partners to fulfil recruitment needs;
  • Work with Line Managers to understand business and manpower requirement;
  • Explore effective recruitment channels to enhance and maintain the existing candidates’ database;
  • Monitor the recruitment progress and performance;
  • Prepare recruitment analysis and reports for the Management;
  • Lead the annual recruitment exercise for graduate trainees, technician apprentices, craft apprentices and summer trainees;
  • Negotiate service terms with and manage external recruitment consultants.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline;
  • 8 years’ solid human resources experience, preferably in recruitment functions, with at least 2 years in supervisory level;
  • Training in the use of assessment tools (OPQ/MBTI) is preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of HR Systems, e.g. PeopleSoft is a definite advantage;
  • Independent, resourceful, responsible, pro-active, innovative and self-motivated;
  • Ability to work under tight deadline;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to handle multi-tasks under pressure;
  • Highly proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin);
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office applications.
