Together for tomorrow – Sustainability Month

Gammon Construction has devoted the month of May to sustainability. Together with our parent company - Balfour Beatty’s operating companies worldwide, employees, customers and supply chain members took part in a wide range of events to raise awareness of sustainability and encourage change towards more sustainable behaviors.

Throughout the month we've scheduled a variety of activities to engage our employees in sustainability, which asked all of us to look for opportunities to improve sustainable practices across our business.

These activities include Volunteering Celebration Event at the Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve; Safety Talks arranged for Gammon’s frontline workforce; Green Procurement Workshop with our suppliers and subcontractors; Health Awareness Programme – “Move More Everyday” within our sites and offices; and Sustainability Day in our office in Shenzhen.
