Gammon's innovative and resource-rich Foundations Division has extensive knowledge and experience in the design and construction of foundations in all ground conditions.

Our specific expertise covers diaphragm walls, barrettes, bored piling in various sizes, driven piling of various types, deep basement construction, ground anchors, land and marine site investigation, grouting, vertical drains and ground treatment by vibroflotation and dynamic consolidation. We also have capabilities in demolition, site formation and horizontal directional drilling.

In support of these capabilities, we have one of the most comprehensively equipped soil testing laboratories in Hong Kong, with particular emphasis on high quality effective stress and consolidation testing.

Consistent investment in high quality plant and equipment has further allowed us to assemble an extensive range of machinery, much of it designed and developed in-house.
